Abstract

Seri Iskandar, 16 April 2026 – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Perak took another significant step towards strengthening its Green Campus initiative by organising the Strategic Workshop on E-Bike Micro-Mobility Management, held on Thursday, 16 April 2026, from 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m. Led by Unit 6: Green Transportation under the Green Campus programme, the workshop marked a new phase in the university's commitment to developing a sustainable and efficient campus transportation system. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Adeeq Tanny Resources (M) Sdn. Bhd., one of Malaysia's leading e-bike solution providers and UiTM Perak's strategic industry partner. The workshop commenced with an opening briefing by Associate Professor Sr. Dr. Nur Azfahani Ahmad, Coordinator of the Green Campus Committee, who highlighted the university's vision for sustainable transportation. This was followed by a comprehensive presentation delivered by Gs. Dr. Norhazlan Haron, Head of Unit 6: Green Transportation, outlining the implementation strategy, objectives, and operational framework of the UiTM Perak ebike micro-mobility project. The participation of heads of departments and key administrative units enabled productive and focused discussions on the strategic planning required to ensure the successful implementation of the e-bike micro-mobility system across the campus. The discussions centred on several critical aspects, including user safety, land-use planning, daily operational management, maintenance strategies, and the effective utilisation of operational facilities and designated road networks. Emphasis was also placed on establishing a collaborative framework that delivers mutual benefits while enhancing operational efficiency and service quality at UiTM Perak.
