Sea the change 2026

A total of 44 first-semester students from the Diploma in Office Management and Technology (BA132), together with 51 student organizers from classes MBA1325A and MBA1325B (AquaBuddies), participated in the Beach Cleanliness and Recycling Awareness CSR Programme: Sea the Change 2026 at Pantai Puteri, Melaka. The programme was officiated by YB Tuminah Kadi @ Mohd Hashim, Deputy State Executive Councillor for Entrepreneur Development, Cooperatives and Consumer Affairs and State Assembly person for Pantai Kundor. Organised as part of the OBM310 (Event Management) course, the programme aimed to promote environmental awareness through Beach Plogging, a recycling competition, and an educational session by SWCorp Malaysia. The participants successfully collected 279 kg of waste and installed 3R awareness signboards and a wakaf bench as lasting contributions to the local community. The programme was organised in collaboration with the Majlis Bandaraya Melaka Bersejarah (MBMB), SWCorp Malaysia and Kelab Belia Generasi Progresif (KELGENSIF), and reflecting UiTM students' commitment to environmental sustainability and meaningful community engagement.
