Abstract

The study highlights Tetraspora microalgae as a renewable alternative to fossil fuels and evaluates two growth models to enhance biofuel production efficiency. By comparing the Logistic Sigmoidal and Gompertz models using root mean square error, the coefficient of determination, and percentage error, researchers found that the Gompertz model provided superior performance. It accurately predicted a growth rate of zero point zero two five per day with a lower error value, a higher determination coefficient of zero point nine eight five nine, and an error rate of twelve-point two eight percent. Ultimately, the Gompertz model proves to be the most dependable tool for estimating microalgae growth, supporting efforts toward affordable and clean energy initiatives.
