Industrial training report at Lembaga Industri Getah Sabah (Skim Penempatan Getah Tulid, Keningau

Based from the report of Lembaga Industri Getah Sabah (LIGS) in 1980 entitled "Rubber Settlement Scheme Tulid ( Nandagan ) Keningau" had stated that the state government has intend to develop areas of 3000 acre " government land " at Nandagan localities. Embodiment of Skim penempatan Getah is to give chance for the resident of the poor which live near the locality by involving them as settlers and will be managed by LIGS in commercial state. One that makes Rubber Settlement Scheme Tulid unique from other Rubber Settlement scheme is it developed and planted oil palm as well due to the suitable land condition. SPG Tulid can be seen by searching their signboard located near Nandagan as shown in the Figure 1.1. According to the letter from the director of land survey department and only signed by K.G Floyd (Land Development planner), the number LS.1302.1.35 .1.81 in 28 August 1982 to surveyors Keningau district, the area proposed for Rubber Settlement Scheme Nandagan is available and LIGS have been assign to occupy the area.
