Automation has gained an important place in industry, especially during the era of Industrial Revolution 3.0, which began around the mid-20th century. The main purpose of automated processes is to speed up production, reduce the use of manual labour and improve the accuracy of work. Recently, Industrial Revolution 4.0 has emerged and is developed rapidly which marks a paradigm shift in manufacturing, characterized by the convergence of cyber-physical systems, the Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Even so, there are still work processes (usually in the administrative department) using manual methods in performing a task such as stamping. This task seems simple, but when the large volumes of documents are involved, the workload of employees will increase and make them fatigued. Therefore, based on this situation, a stamping machine has been designed to automate the manual process. Apart from that, the concept of IoT is also applied so that the stamping machine can be controlled remotely using a smartphone. As a result of testing with users, it was found that the proposed stamping machine can help ease their workload when the stamping process can be carried out automatically.
