International webinar programme (hybrid mode) on sustainable circular aquaculture in Southeast Asia: towards affordable fish and food security

An international webinar programme (hybrid mode) on Sustainable Circular Aquaculture in Southeast Asia: Towards Affordable Fish and Food Security was successfully organised by the Centre for Studies in Science, Plantation and Agrotechnology, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak Branch, Mukah Campus, in collaboration with PT Ikanesia Nusantara Akuamarin, Indonesia, on 8th December 2025. The organisation of this webinar is part of a collaborative activity with an international industry, which is in line with the UiTM Sarawak Branch’s efforts to strengthen global industry networks. This webinar is organised as part of the university’s strategic initiative to achieve PI-074: Number of Activities under MoA/MoU with International Industries by strengthening engagement and collaboration with global industry partners. The webinar was designed as a platform to explore the potential of aquaculture in the Nusantara region and to share knowledge and best practices in the sustainable management of aquatic resources.
