Report on industrial training at Kwantas Coperation Berhad

Kwantas Corporation Berhad was incorporated inl 995 as an investment holding company and was listed on the Main Board of the Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad (formerly known as Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange) in 1996. The Kwantas Group is an integrated palm oil producer which operates the following:

• Oil palm plantations and oil mills
• Palm kernel crushing plant
• Palm oil refinery plants
• Shortening plants
• Biomass power plant
• Bulking installation and facilities
• Trading of palm oils and fats products
• Whole selling and supply of diesel and lubricants

From its humble beginnings as a single company, the Group has grown and flourished what it is today. The business has achieved its success with the singular aim of constantly creating value for its shareholders and at the same time maximizing their returns. But success does not come easily.
