Abstract
The Smart Clothes Hanger System is designed to solve the problem of weather changes impacting outdoor clothing drying times. Malaysia experiences year-round warm, muggy weather and frequently unpredictable since it is possible for rain to fall unexpectedly. Making it impossible for people to forecast what the actual weather will be like. This invention makes use of an ESP32 microcontroller, temperature sensor, rain sensor, LEDs, LCD and mobile application to deliver real-time weather updates. Circuit design and simulation are facilitated by the Tinkercad software and the system's smooth operation is guaranteed by C++ programming. Rain will trigger the red LED and buzzer, which show "It's raining" or "Hot Rain" on the LCD. A stepper motor then pulls clothing out of the way of the rain. When there are no rainy days, the stepper motor takes out clothes and the green LED will light-up. The LCD displays "Sunny Day," "Cloudy," or "It will rain" depending on the temperature. Other than that, people also can check the real time temperature at their residence through mobile application. This clever approach helps those who are forgetful and keeps clothes from getting wet. With its goals accomplished, the prototype shows how well integrated technology can handle unforeseen weather circumstances.
