Abstract
The conservation of rivers and seas represents a multidimensional challenge of global relevance. Anchored in Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 6 (Clean Water and Sanitation) and SDG 14 (Life Below Water), this effort reflects a collective responsibility of safeguard biodiversity and natural resources. Sustainable management of aquatic ecosystems not only protects marine life but also enhances the socio-economic resilience of local communities and nations. However, these ecosystems remain vulnerable to industrial and societal activities that threaten their ecological integrity.
