Abstract
SHAH ALAM, 10 June 2026 - Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM), through the Smart Manufacturing Research Institute (SMRI), successfully organized the Hexagon Optium Open Day 2026 at the MyAERO Associate Lab, UiTM Shah Alam.The programme was held in conjunction with the operationalization of the Hexagon Optium, a high-precision measurement and simulation system established through a strategic collaboration between UiTM, National Aerospace Industry Corporation Malaysia (NAICO Malaysia) and the Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to strengthening research capabilities, technological advancement and talent development in support of Malaysia's aerospace and smart manufacturing industries.
