Abstract

On 10 June 2026, the Research Management Centre (RMC) conducted a courtesy visit to Bank Rakyat to discuss potential strategic collaboration aimed at supporting community development, empowering the people's economy, and strengthening the university's research and innovation agenda. The RMC delegation was received by YBrs. Ustaz Mohd Zamerey Abdul Razak, Executive Vice President, Shariah Group, representing Bank Rakyat during the discussion session. The meeting was held in a constructive atmosphere, focusing on expanding collaborations that benefit society and the nation. Both parties expressed their commitment to establishing cooperation, particularly in implementing highimpact programmes that add value to the community while strengthening strategic ties between higher education institutions and the Islamic financial sector. This courtesy visit reflects RMC's ongoing commitment to expanding strategic networks with key stakeholders, ensuring that university expertise and research outcomes are translated into tangible benefits for society, industry, and the nation.
