Abstract
BioDiversityCanvas highlights how genes, species, and habitats are connected, stressing the importance of Earth's diverse life, like plants and animals, for nature's balance and human well-being, despite being challenging to manage, especially concerning data in Malaysia. Researchers in Malaysia face obstacles due to limited access to detailed species location data, hindering their ability to conduct thorough studies. Additionally, the absence of comprehensive tools for analyzing species status complicates the assessment of population trends, impeding effective conservation efforts and management strategies. Addressing these challenges is crucial for promoting biodiversity research and conservation in Malaysia. In this regard, BioDiversityCanvas had been developed to connect disparate data sets, providing a visually engaging and harmonious interface, and enhancing the overall user experience. It provides valuable insights into species distribution, taxonomy breakdowns, and geographic patterns, aligning with Malaysia's biodiversity management goals. To date, the BioDiversityCanvas dashboard is one of the kinds that could visualize insight of the animal, plant, and fungi raw data, by taxonomy in terms of graphs, pie charts, maps, and word cloud. The significance of this research aligns with the Malaysia Biodiversity Department's objective, aiming to integrate biodiversity management and enhance initiatives for wildlife conservation inMalaysia.
