Day two: 2026 UiTM Journal Audit and Enhancement Workshop

The workshop commenced with a lecture entitled "Managing Scholarly Journals for Indexing Compliance", delivered by Dato' Professor Dr. Roslan Abd Shukor from the National University of Malaysia (UKM). The session emphasised the importance of systematic scholarly journal management and adherence to international indexing requirements. Following the lecture, a cross-audit session involving 30 UiTM journals was conducted as an initiative to strengthen compliance, enhance the quality of editorial management, and elevate the university's journal publishing standards towards achieving more competitive and high-quality indexing recognition. The highlight of the second day was the presentation of certificates of appointment to 54 UiTM journals during the UiTM Journal Editors Appreciation Night 2026. The ceremony was officiated by YBhg. Dato' Dr. Adnan Alias, Member of the UiTM Board of Directors.
