The involvement of women entrepreneurs in the informal economy: a case study of Sarawak.

Abstract
This exploratory study identifies the motivation and entrepreneur characteristics of women who are involved in the informal economy in Sarawak. Few issues on women’s reasons to be involved in informal activities will be discussed and the reasons why they do not get involved in formal business are then compared between ethnicity.
