Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) in farming involves the use of advanced technology to automate and optimize different farming activities. These may include a wide range of farming activities such as harvesting, weeding, crop monitoring, irrigation, and crop management. The main goal of IOT in farming is to increase efficiency, productivity, and profitability while reducing labour requirements and environmental impact. By using automation, farmers can save time, reduce costs, and increase yields, making it a promising technology for the future of farming. Smart farm uses a microcontroller ESP 32 wroom 32 to process data from sensors. It has 36 and onboard wifi that can be used to connect the device to the internet. We use BH1750, DS18B20 and HD-38 sensors to get the data on Light intensity, soil moisture percentage and temperature in Celsius. For the database, we used an in-house server that we must store and send the data to mobile or desktop application if the users request.
