Abstract
This study investigates the effectiveness of fingerprint door lock technology in enhancing security and convenience in residential and commercial settings. The research questions focus on the security provided by fingerprint door locks compared to traditional key-based systems, user experience, and potential vulnerabilities. Hypotheses propose that fingerprint door locks offer superior security and convenience over traditional locking mechanisms. Methodologies employed include a comprehensive literature review, case studies of real-world implementations, and empirical research comprising surveys, interviews, and usability testing. Results demonstrate that fingerprint door lock technology significantly improves security by minimizing the risk of unauthorized access and offering customizable access control options. Additionally, users report high levels of satisfaction with the convenience and ease of use fingerprint door locks. As a conclusion, fingerprint door lock technology emerges as a promising solution for bolstering security and convenience in access control systems. The study findings advocate for the adoption of fingerprint door locks as a reliable alternative to traditional key-based systems, especially in environments where security is paramount.
