Abstract
Three researchers from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pulau Pinang, Permatang Pauh Campus have brought pride to Malaysia after being selected to conduct experiments at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source in the United Kingdom, one of the world's leading neutron research facilities. The research team, led by Ir. Ts. Mohamed Syazwan Osman, Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Chemical Engineering, UiTM Cawangan Pulau Pinang, together with two Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidates, Nur Lina Syahirah Mustapa and Anis Syuhada Saufi, is undertaking a research project focused on developing innovative technologies to address the growing challenge of microplastic pollution while enhancing the value of plastic waste through advanced materials engineering.
