Strengthening international collaboration: courtesy visit by Namangan State Technical University, Uzbekistan to UiTM

8 April 2026 - UiTM continues to expand its global footprint by hosting a distinguished delegation from Namangan State Technical University, Uzbekistan. The delegation, led by Rector, Prof. Oybek Karimovich Ergashev and Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ilhom Abdurahmanov, was warmly received by Prof. Ts. Dr. Norazah Abd Rahman (Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Research & Innovation) and Prof. Datin Dr. Norazida Mohamed (Assistant Vice-Chancellor, UiTM Global). Spearheaded by the dedicated team at the Faculty of Applied Sciences, UiTM Perak Branch, the strategic meeting culminated in the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI). This alliance paves the way for stronger institutional ties, and drive high-impact collaborative research. We look forward to a highly productive synergy between our two universities!
