Abstract

COVID-19 was declared a pandemic on March 11, 2020, by the World Health Organization (WHO). The worldwide economy has been hit hard by this pandemic. Reduced productivity, firm closures, and trade disruptions have all had a significant economic impact. The goal of this study is to look at the entrepreneurial intentions of accounting students at UiTM Kedah during the COVID-19 epidemic in a qualitative way. Part seven and part eight of accounting students at UiTM Kedah served as the study's unit of analysis. Since they were technically equipped with commercial operations and initiatives, accounting graduates have an advantage and the ability to be successful entrepreneurs. In this study, the researchers uncovered several factors that impact graduating UiTM Kedah accounting students' decision to start their own firms. The factors include monetary compensation, autonomy, attitude, customer satisfaction, and family influence. This research can help university policymakers, government officials, and entrepreneurship agencies develop future entrepreneurs and promote entrepreneurship as a career choice for graduating students.
