UiTM Perak branch looks into e-Bike R&D partnership with China’s biggest company

UiTM Perak Branch Explores E-Bike R&D Collaboration with Leading Chinese Company Beijing, 30 May 2026 (Saturday) - A visit to an e-bike manufacturing company in Tianjin was conducted as part of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UITM) Perak Branch's initiative to strengthen collaboration with industry partners and explore opportunities for research and development (R&D) cooperation. The UiTM delegation was led by Associate Professor Dr. Nur Hisham Ibrahim, PMP, Rector of UiTM Perak Branch, accompanied by Professor Dr. Muhamad Abdul Aziz Ab. Gani, Deputy Rector (Research, Industry, Community and Alumni Network), UiTM Perak Branch; Mohamed Izzat Mohamed Khalil from the Research and Innovation Division, UiTM; as well as several coordinators, lecturers, and representatives from the Faculty of Architecture, Planning and Surveying (FAB), Faculty of Art and Design (FSSR), and Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FSKM). Among them were Ts. Dr. Zaaba Ahmad, Mr. Mohd Shahrizan Mohd Said, Mr. Mohamad Hafiz Yahaya, and Mr. Muh Sarip Abd Rahman. The delegation arrived at Beijing Daxing International Airport at 12:45 a.m. local time and was assisted by Tang Chun Yan, a Chinese international postgraduate student at UiTM Perak Branch, who played a key role in coordinating the purchase of high-speed train tickets for the journey to the company's main manufacturing facility located in Wuqing District, Tianjin, China.
