Abstract

This academic report documents and analyzes the execution, structural interventions, and community health outcomes of the "Program Pemeriksaan Kesihatan Warga Emas @ Puncak Alam" (Senior Citizens' Health Screening Programme at Puncak Alam). As emerging populations undergo a rapid demographic shift toward an aging society, proactive preventative healthcare frameworks are critical to mitigating the systemic burdens of chronic non-communicable diseases and geriatric syndromes. Designed as an impactful academic corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative, this program links institutional university expertise directly with the grassroots community. The operational architecture of this public health intervention is evaluated across three primary axes: (1) Comprehensive Physiological and Metabolic Screening, encompassing anthropometric profiling (BMI), body composition analysis, hemodynamic monitoring (blood pressure), and point-of-care capillary biochemical assays (fasting blood glucose and lipid panels); (2) Targeted Geriatric Component Assessment (Geriatric Giants Framework), which screens for localized fall risks via specialized mobility and balance metrics, frailty sequencing, cognitive/memory function appraisal, and musculoskeletal strength evaluations conducted by physical therapy panels; and (3) Health Literacy Translation and Behavioral Interventions, delivering personalized nutritional counseling, low-intensity adapted physical exercises (such as chair aerobics), and seamless clinical referral pipelines to the Al-Sultan Abdullah Hospital (UiTM Puncak Alam) for high-risk sub-clinical cases. Post-program diagnostic data indicates a statistically significant increase in community health literacy and early-stage disease detection. Ultimately, this research provides an applied community-health blueprint and strategic management guide for healthcare providers, institutional administrators, and local municipal planners looking to scale healthy aging infrastructure.
