Abstract
This paper discusses the developing fault analysis program for bus and line fault using C programming. Fault analysis is an essential aspect of power system engineering to ensure grid reliability and the appropriate sizing of protective devices. The developed program utilizes the C programming language to compute fault currents, voltages, and impedance matrices for both symmetrical and asymmetrical faults occurring at power system buses and transmission lines. The findings indicate that the application of this C-based program provides an efficient, computationally lightweight, and accurate alternative for electrical engineering students and practitioners to simulate power system disturbances without relying on heavy commercial software.
