Procrastination Buster Ambience Study Capsule (PACS)

Historically, libraries have served as sanctuaries of knowledge and learning for academic and intellectual pursuits. Despite this, the changing needs of today's learners and technology integration into education require that traditional library spaces be reimagined. This project explores the concept of 'study capsules' as a revolutionary idea for library environments. Study capsules are private, technologically equipped, and adaptable spaces. We explore the multifaceted aspects of this innovation. Our research aims to create a learning environment that maximizes individual study through design, layout, and technology integration. We consider environmental and sustainability aspects as part of our eco-friendly library design approach. Our survey of 32 students studying Library and Information Management (Honors) found that procrastination is becoming a habit. We are committed to helping students eliminate their bad habits through our Procrastination Buster: Ambience Study Capsule (PACS) innovation. Innovation within library spaces is imperative to cater to students' and researchers' evolving needs. The strategy we implemented also included using music as a form of assistance to keep students focused, thus redefining the traditional paradigm of the library.
