Abstract
The program Exploring strategic collaboration opportunities with CDL Academy, YTL Cement, held at Wisma YTL Cement, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, serves as a high-impact industry engagement initiative aimed at aligning academic training with professional construction sector demands. Led by the Dean of the Faculty of Built Environment (FAB), UiTM Shah Alam, Professor Ts. Dr. Emma Marinie Ahmad Zawawi, alongside key faculty members, this session focuses on establishing strategic collaborations in talent development and industry-based training following an invitation by Dato’ Sr Mohd Zaid bin Zakaria, Chairman of CDL Academy and Adjunct Professor at FAB. By bridging the university's academic expertise with YTL Cement's engineering and research capabilities, the dialogue paves the way for advanced knowledge exchange and curriculum enrichment: and it successfully strengthens industry-academic synergy while enhancing graduate employability and professional readiness within the built environment sector.
