Abstract
The program Measured drawing program organised by the Department of Architecture, School of Architecture and Interior Architecture, College of Built Environment, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Puncak Alam, serves as a significant academic and heritage preservation milestone through the successful documentation of five historical buildings in Johol, Negeri Sembilan. This initiative focuses on utilizing the Vice Chancellor’s Special Project (VCSP) platform, in collaboration with Yayasan Undang Johol, to fulfill the core requirements of courses AAR652 (Southeast Asian & Malaysian Architecture) and AAA670 (Malaysian Architecture & Heritage) involving 70 final-year Architecture students. By conducting comprehensive on-site technical measurements and architectural archiving, the event bridges academic learning with cultural conservation: and it successfully preserves valuable national historical assets while equipping future architects with specialized skills in heritage documentation.
