Abstract
This paper documents and evaluates the institutional and scholarly significance of the official newsletter published by the Institute of Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), specifically focusing on Issue 39, January 2024. Serving as a crucial mechanism for science communication at the inception of the academic year, this periodical chronicles the institute's latest research milestones, advancements in molecular medicine, and collaborative academic ventures. By synthesizing updates on innovative laboratory breakthroughs, postgraduate achievements, and technical workshops, the newsletter facilitates efficient knowledge transfer and institutional archiving. This analysis emphasizes how regular university-backed serial publications cultivate institutional memory, expand research visibility, and fortify biomedical and molecular biotechnology scholarly networks within Malaysia.
