Abstract
This paper reviews and contextualizes the institutional and scholarly value of the official newsletter issued by the Institute of Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), focusing specifically on Issue 34, August 2023. Operating as a strategic platform for science communication, this periodic publication chronicles the institute’s latest trajectories in biomedical research, postgraduate milestones, and collaborative academic ventures. By detailing laboratory breakthroughs, technical workshops, and research dissemination efforts, the newsletter plays a vital role in knowledge management and institutional archiving. This analysis emphasizes the utility of university-backed serials in expanding research visibility, bridging the gap between complex molecular sciences and public comprehension, and documenting the continuous growth of the medical biotechnology ecosystem in Malaysia.
