Abstract
This publication constitutes the 19th issue (May 2022) of the official newsletter published by the Institute of Medical Molecular Biotechnology (IMMB), Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Sungai Buloh Campus. Functioning as an institutional archive and a medium for scientific academic communication, this issue chronicles the monthly advancements in advanced biomedical research, laboratory-based innovations, and scholarly achievements within the institute. It highlights recent research breakthroughs in molecular medicine, updates on collaborative grants, and clinical training initiatives designed to elevate the specialized laboratory competencies of postgraduate researchers. Ultimately, this institutional report underscores IMMB’s ongoing strategic role in expanding biotechnological research capacity, promoting genomic and molecular literacy, and advancing healthcare-driven innovations within the Malaysian higher education sector.
