Abstract
This article documents and evaluates the execution of the 3rd International Mobility Program: Global Project-Based Learning (gPBL) 2025, hosted by Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Pulau Pinang. Under the theme "Design of an Intelligent Control Robotic System," the initiative brought together a multicultural cohort of 30 students and lecturers from Hosei University and Fukuoka Institute of Technology, Japan; Universitas Negeri Malang, Indonesia; and UiTM, Malaysia. Executed in a strategic industry-academia partnership with National Instruments (NI), the program integrated technical engineering tasks with intercultural competencies, utilizing EV3 robotics kits and industry-led mentoring to solve advanced control automation problems. Beyond completing rigorous engineering missions and competitive peer evaluations, participants engaged in cultural immersion activities that fostered regional camaraderie and a broader appreciation of diversity. The findings underscore the efficacy of global project-based learning frameworks in enhancing undergraduate public speaking skills, technical confidence, and global readiness. Ultimately, the success of gPBL 2025 solidifies UiTM's strategic trajectory as a progressive hub for international engagement and collaborative engineering education within the ASEAN-Pacific region
