Abstract
This paper investigates the systematic integration of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) and core sustainability competencies within the curriculum of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. It outlines the methodology used to map out existing course modules, assessing how environmental, social, and economic sustainability principles are embedded into engineering education. The study highlights the strategic importance of equipping engineering students with practical competencies in sustainable design, green infrastructure, and ethical resource management. By identifying current gaps and benchmarking curriculum structures against global sustainability frameworks, this research provides vital insights into transforming traditional engineering education to meet modern global development challenges.
