Abstract
The pedagogical structures, operational execution, and strategic institutional outcomes of the Research Ethics Committee (REC) Workshop held at the Al-Ghazali Hall, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam. Grounded in the frameworks of research governance, bioethics compliance, and academic integrity management, this case study evaluates how targeted competency-building initiatives for institutional review boards (IRBs) strengthen the ethical oversight of high-impact scholarly investigations.
