Abstract
This article documents the efforts of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Penang Branch in expanding its international academic network through strategic engagements in Japan involving Hosei University (HU) and the Fukuoka Institute of Technology (FIT). Held from September 25 to October 1, 2025, the program featured two key experts from UiTM in the fields of robotics and engineering education. Throughout the program, the UiTM delegation presented the achievements of the Global Project-Based Learning (gPBL) program, which brought together students and academics from Malaysia, Japan, and Indonesia to solve real-world engineering challenges. Additionally, technical contributions made through sharing sessions on LabVIEW-based robotics systems and autonomous design principles left a significant impact on the faculty members in Japan. This engagement not only strengthens UiTM's global reputation in STEM-driven innovation but also opens doors for broader, long-term collaborative opportunities including student mobility, staff exchanges, and joint research projects.
