Abstract
Biodiversity encompasses the variety of life across all terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems, serving as a critical foundation for ecosystem stability, carbon absorption, climate regulation, and human well-being. Malaysia is recognized as a mega-biodiverse country due to its rich array of flora, fauna, and unique tropical habitats. This immense diversity underpins essential natural processes, stabilizes the food chain, and maintains the delicate ecological balance necessary for the long-term survival and heritage of humanity.
