Full transcript of the UiTM Lecture by YBrs. Professor Ts. Dr. Wardah Tahir entitled “Forecasting the Impending Flood Disaster" held at Dewan Sri Impian, Hotel UiTM Shah Alam. Includes the speech text and discussion on the causes of floods, including extreme rainfall, urbanization, deforestation, river encroachment, and climate change. It also highlights both structural and non-structural flood mitigation measures, such as dams, SMART Tunnel, sustainable drainage systems, and early warning systems.
