Abstract
The AAGBS pre-graduation hi-tea 2019 served as a significant celebratory and networking milestone for graduating postgraduate business students prior to their official convocation. This paper examines the role of informal institutional gatherings in strengthening the transition from active students to engaged corporate alumni. By providing a relaxed platform for interaction, the 2019 event allowed impending graduates to network with faculty members, university leadership, and invited industry alumni. This study analyzes the strategic importance of these specialized social events in building long-term institutional loyalty, fostering professional mentorship, and establishing robust alumni pathways.
