Abstract

The Malaysia international halal showcase (MIHAS) 2019 served as a benchmark event that significantly expanded the horizons of both local and international networking within the global halal economy. Co-located with the Global Halal Summit, the 2019 exhibition attracted approximately 30,000 traders and visitors, generating over RM1.6 billion in immediate and negotiated trade value. This paper analyzes how MIHAS 2019 functioned as a strategic platform for market access, knowledge exchange, and institutional collaboration among Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) countries and global trade partners.
