Abstract
This article highlights the achievement of Khairun Nisaa’ binti Mohd Nor, a PhD student in Agricultural Economics (AT950) at the Faculty of Plantation and Agrotechnology, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka, Jasin Campus. She was selected to represent UiTM in the 2022 Australia-Malaysia Virtual PhD Internship Programme, an initiative by the Australian Department of Education in collaboration with the Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. The eight-week internship, hosted by The University of Queensland under the supervision of Professor Christopher O’Donnell, provided opportunities for international collaboration, skill development, and academic networking. Her project involved survey tool design, R code development, model estimation, and seminar preparation. The program concluded with a mini symposium at the Australian High Commission, Malaysia, featuring keynote addresses and thematic presentations.
