Abstract
This study examines the role of organizational welcoming strategies and community integration within higher education, focusing on the introduction of the new IPSIS' family members. Establishing a strong sense of belonging and community is critical for new postgraduate students and staff adjusting to an institutional ecosystem. Through a qualitative analysis of onboarding experiences at the Institute of Graduate Studies, this research explores how social integration initiatives foster collaboration, reduce transition anxiety, and enhance institutional loyalty. The findings indicate that a welcoming, family-oriented culture within academic departments significantly improves retention rates and long-term engagement. Ultimately, the study highlights the strategic importance of proactive community building in sustaining a supportive academic environment.
