Vice Chancellor on-site

UiTM, IPSis (2021) Vice Chancellor on-site. Bulletin. Institut Pengajian Siswazah (IPSis), Shah Alam.

Abstract

This study explores the significance of the physical presence of a vice chancellor (Vice Chancellor on-site) in driving strategic management and operational stability within higher education institutions. The physical presence of leadership on campus is found to accelerate decision-making processes, boost staff morale, and strengthen communication between the administration and the university community. The findings indicate that direct, on-site leadership resolves internal crises more efficiently compared to remote management. In conclusion, the on-site leadership model remains highly relevant in ensuring the continuity and excellence of university governance.
