UiTM strengthens digital literacy and community engagement: Digital Heroes Programme

MERU, 22 November 2025 – Students from the Bachelor of Information Systems (Hons.) Information Systems Engineering and Bachelor of Computer Science (Hons.) Computer Networks programmes, Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences (FSKM), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, successfully implemented the SULAM 2025 Programme: Digital Heroes in collaboration with the Kampung Budiman community. The programme, held at Dewan Balai Raya Kampung Budiman, was supervised by Miss Wan Athirah Wan Endut and Madam Saidatul Rahah Hamidi. Organised under the national framework of Service Learning Malaysia – University for Society (SULAM), this initiative aimed to strengthen university–community engagement through applied learning. Adopting the theme “Digital Heroes”, the programme focused on enhancing digital awareness and introducing technology driven solutions to benefit residents of Kampung Budiman.
