Abstract
An overseas student from the University of Applied Sciences H2 Magdeburg-Stendal, Germany has joined the College of Engineering Studies. Simon Riesner is a student pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering. He is a second-year student who has been awarded a scholarship under the RISE-DAAD program. He has decided to do research at UiTM for three months, from June 1st to August 29th, 2024. Under the supervision of Dr. Marfiah Ab Wahid and her team, the Micropollutant and Pathogen in Water Research Group (WaterµPath), he will be working on a research project entitled "Effective water quality monitoring at mangrove area using UAV".
