Abstract

7 January 2024, Shah Alam – Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) has formalized a strategic partnership through a virtual Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing with Global Escapades Sdn. Bhd. (GESB), University of Jendouba (UJ), Tunisia, and the Higher Institute of Biotechnology of Beja, University of Jendouba (HIBB-UJ). The MoU, officiated by YBhg. Professor Datuk Ts. Dr. Shahrin bin Sahib @ Sahibuddin, Vice-Chancellor of UiTM, Pr. Hichem Sbai, Chancellor of University of Jendouba, and Joseph Marinus, CEO of GESB, aims to strengthen academic collaboration through UiTM’s Academy of SME Development and Entrepreneurship (MASMED) and its strategic partners. This partnership is set to open opportunities for student exchanges, joint research, and innovative entrepreneurial initiatives. It is expected to enrich the academic experience for students and faculty members while contributing to socio-economic development at the global level.
