Abstract
Sawit Kinabalu Sendirian Sendirian Berhad (SKSB) was formed by the State Government of Sabah on November 26 1996. The company is continuing the efforts to encourage the people of Sabah to assume a more responsible role in the growth of the State. The company has decided to corporatize the Sabah Land Development Board (SLDB). The State Government of Sabah believed when the two company corporations it will bring a greater efficiency and effectiveness, thereby maximizes the profitability and contributing directly to the economic growth of the nation. Signing of Corporatisation Agreement between the Sabah Government, SKSB, SLOB and Borneo Samudera Sendirian Berhad (BSSB). BSSB is the main operator of company owned by SKSB and manage the operation and investment assets of residual SLDB. On 31st September 2002, the Management Agreement have expired. After the corporatisation exercise, SKSB and SLDB are separated into 2 different entities.
