Hairstyle suggestions based on face shape identification system

This project paper puts foIWard about hairstyle suggestions based on face shape identification system. One-third of Malaysians do not know their face shape and often end up with unsuitable hairstyle for them. The project is newly suggested as it using image processing and back propagation neural network as to conclude the final result. The system offers to help about giving some tips on styling the user's hair based on her face shape and it helps the user to understand what type of face shape does the user has. The system will be designed with friendly interface and clear process although using many hidden techniques from image processing, training, reasoning and so on. Total of data collected is 200 from women in age range 20 to 25 years old mimicking three types of facial expressions - happy, neutral and pout. It will become important system for the development of fashion especially of hairstyle ahead since hair is one of the natural accessories and a guilty pleasure for a person
