Abstract

ADHD, or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, is a behavioural and neurodevelopment condition that disrupts a child's ability to focus. It is typically diagnosed in childhood, though symptoms can linger into adolescence and adulthood. It is not always easy to support students with ADHD, but with a few simple techniques, educators can help them to thrive in the classroom. The best learning environments are those that are structured, supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
