Abstract
KUB Agro Holdings Sdn Bhd (formerly known as KUB Agrotech Sdn Bhd) was initially incorporated on 5 May 1979 under the name Ladang KUB-KEB Sdn Bhd. On 7 September 1994, the name was changed to KUB Agro Holdings Sdn Bhd. The company’s core business is in plantation management and development of oil palm plantations. KUB Agro Holdings owns and manages two oil palm plantations in Johor with a combined total area of 2,660 hectares. These estates produced 24,000 metric tones of oil palm fresh fruit bunches (FBB) in the year 2000. Apart from the above, a joint venture effort with KUB Sepadu Sdn Bhd resulted in the acquisition of 4,640 hectares of oil palm plantation in Mukah, Sarawak.
