The Think.Press.Solve. Checkmate Your Calculations! workshop, held on November 7, 2025, at UiTM Cawangan Negeri Sembilan, Kampus Kuala Pilah, was a collaborative initiative by the Kelab Catur and the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics. Designed for pre-diploma and diploma students, the program utilized chess-inspired strategies to enhance analytical thinking and calculator proficiency. By emphasizing logical planning and strategic execution—akin to a chess player’s foresight—the workshop successfully empowered participants to overcome calculation errors and low self-confidence. Ultimately, the session reshaped the students' approach to mathematical problem-solving, resulting in significant improvements in their critical thinking, accuracy, and technical efficiency.
