Abstract

This study investigates the relationship between volunteer satisfaction and retention among university students, highlighting the importance of sustained involvement for the success of sporting events. Employing a quantitative approach with non-probability purposive sampling, researchers utilized the Volunteer Satisfaction Survey (VSS) and the Organizational Commitment Questionnaire (OCQ) to collect data via digital platforms. Through a non-experimental design and Pearson correlation analysis, the research examines how satisfaction levels influence a volunteer's intention to continue their service. The findings aim to provide insights into fostering long-term commitment and personal growth within higher education volunteer programs.
