Unit Latihan Industri, UiTM Kampus Bandaraya Melaka

As part of my Bachelor of Marketing curriculum, I completed a six-month industrial training program at the Unit Latihan Industri, UiTM Kampus Bandaraya Melaka, from February 24, 2025, to August 8, 2025. This internship report details my experience. As an administrative staff member during this internship, I was tasked with a variety of administrative and coordination duties pertaining to student industrial training assignments. Through this position, I was able to deepen my comprehension of workplace dynamics in an academic context and have firsthand knowledge of the inner workings of the university's industrial training section. Communicating with students and academic staff on a daily basis was a big part of my duties. I improved my communication abilities and gained knowledge on how to work with a variety of people in a professional and efficient manner as a result of these encounters. Since the position needed a constant online presence to handle enquiries and offer assistance to students during regular business hours, I also learnt how important it is to be present and responsive. All things considered, this internship was a worthwhile educational opportunity that enhanced my technical and soft abilities. It gave me practical experience with the administrative side of academic support services and helped me gain more confidence in my ability to communicate, particularly with lecturers and students. My professional and personal development in the marketing industry will be greatly aided by the information and expertise I have acquired.
