Abstract

This study explores the role of emotional intelligence in stress management among 268 university staff participants of the Kejohanan Sukan Antara Staf Pusat Sukan (SUPSAT) to inform institutional well-being strategies. Utilizing the Wang and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale and the Perceived Stress Scale, the research employed a quantitative design with non-probability convenience sampling. Data were analyzed using linear regression and independent t-tests in JAMOVI to identify the impact of emotional intelligence on stress and examine gender-based differences, providing insights into psychological resilience within demanding sports environments.
